Brilliant breakdown of the positionl goods angle here. The insight that provenance stays scarce even when replicability becomes cheap is sometihng I've been wrestling with in supply chain work. I dunno if status hierarchies in niche communities can really scale enough to employ the workforce tho. Seems like we're betting alot on taste-based differentiation holding economic weight.
